We are delighted to invite you to the International Forum on Mood and Anxiety Disorders (IFMAD) clinical update meeting to be held from 10 to 12 December 2014 in Vienna.
IFMAD has developed the reputation over many years of being the most interactive, stimulating and productive educational meeting in its field in Europe. It is accredited for continuing medical education. In a friendly atmosphere difficult clinical challenges are dissected, discussed and reformulated with high ranking experts to achieve the best evidence based path to treatment in depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. This year we have, as you requested, increased the number of expert clinical interactive sessions. To avoid bias our educational programme is completely independent of pharmaceutical support.
This year’s topics include advances and updates in the treatment of depression, treatment resistant depression, OCD and anxiety disorders, treatment resistant GAD, borderline disorder, bipolar disorder, bipolar depression, psychotic depression and the possible link of resistant depression to bipolarity. Topics for interactive clinical sessions, which all delegates are expected to attend, include managing non-response in depression, anxiety with comorbidity, treating bipolar mixed states, managing suicidal risk, managing schizoaffective disorder, and discussions on the best treatment of depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder.
